'X Factor' names Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio as new judges

"X Factor" judge Simon Cowell is completely outnumbered. Fox announced Monday night that two more women are joining the competition's judging panel for the show's third season. Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland and Latin pop singer Paulina Rubio will be sitting with the acerbic Brit and returning judge Demi Lovato this fall.

"Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different," Cowell said in a statement.

This is the second judging change for the singing competition. Original judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were let go after the first season, and L.A Reid left the show after the second season. Britney Spears also exited after only one year in the show's sophomore season, leaving two seats open for season three.

"I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and 'The X Factor' family,” said Rowland in a statement. “It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the states!” The singer participated in season eight of the U.K. version of the show.

Just last month, FOX confirmed that Mario Lopez would be returning to host, while Khloe Kardashian was out.

Season three of "X Factor" returns this fall on FOX.

What do you think of the new addition? Well I think it would do little to nothing for the show's falli ratings,  it is what it is! Take a cue from American Idol.  I'd applaud simon for no looking for "big names" cause I don't think they particularly help with ratings. ..when idol started the judges weren't famous and I think that's the way to go!

I am anxiously looking forward to X factor this year. ..I love the show alot and thanks Simon for getting rid of Khloe Kardashian-Odom, thought she sucked at it and needs more training and experience.

Beyoncé not pregnant! Confirmation by Jay-z

According to New York's Hot 97, Jay-Z emailed the radio station's program director after getting a congratulatory email about Beyonce's rumored second pregnancy -- and said it just wasn't so.

"Jay-Z emailed Ebro (Darden) over the weekend and told him that the pregnancy rumor is false," said Peter Rosenberg on the YouTube video of the in-studio "The Realness" report, which was posted Monday.

In a different, radio-only conversation, Ebro gave a few more details about the email, noting that Jay-Z wrote back: "It's not true, the news is worse than blogs." He said the email account was valid to his knowledge, as he and the rapper had been exchanging notes for the past five years.

Last Friday, rumors began kicking up that Beyonce, who has spoken about wanting more children (Blue Ivy, her daughter with Jay-Z was born in January 2012) was in fact pregnant again. Multiple sources pointed to photos of her in which she might (or might not, as the case may be) be concealing (or showing) a baby bump.

Neither the future mama, daddy or their spokespersons commented directly on the rumors (which were so convincing celebrities -- and radio station managers -- began tweeting congrats), but Beyonce did briefly put up an Instagram post that read: "I can't stop the rumors from starting, and I can't really change peoples minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me."

Robert Pattinson moved out of Kristen Stewart' s house

Well it's about time! Robert Pattinson was seen driving out of a home he shared with Kristen Stewart with a truck load of suitcases and stuff including the dogs. You may recall that Kristen was caught by paparazzi photogs kissing and cuddling the married director of a movie she starred in. The director and his wife tried to work things out with counselling just after the story broke but that didn't work out as his wife and mother of his kids filed for divorce shortly after.

So are they officially over? I think so. ..I kinda knew that the relationship would not survive the scandal and also, alot of fans are yet to forgive her.  Personally not a big fan of Kristen,  don't like her nonchalant approach to the Red carpet, her fashion and attitude especially to the media and fans. .

Psy's new Gentleman video a hit or a miss?

Me personally I think it's just a revised version of gangnam style period! Although it has already earned him hundreds of millions of views on youtube I don't think it will get as many views as gangmam style which has the highest views ever on YouTube with over a billion views.

Take is or leave it but in my opinion Psy is just a "one hit wonder" and unfortunately isn't here to stay...gangnam style was fun with many funny moves but "Gentleman" video has only one major move where he was just rolling his waist from side to side. And what's with the aggression towards women in the video?  I don't get it!

Psy we made us dance and we had so much fun with "gangnam style" but you need to be more creative or let us be please.

Nicki Minaj gives lil Wayne a lap dance at the 2013 billboard award

With season 12 of American idol offially over, I guess Nicki was bored and looking for a reason to be back in the headlines.  At the Billboard Music Awards she gave lil Wayne a lap dance during her performance and rumours have it that the editors of the show weren't very pleased about it.

This isn't new to Nicki because she gives alot of lap dances on her show and I guess thats what makes her Nicki I guess but next time please not in front of the little ones.... alot of kids watch these award shows.

Justin Bieber thanks Jesus Christ at the 2013 billboard Award

It was so wonderful to see Justin Bieber thank Jesus Christ, members of his familu and God during his acceptance speech at the 2013 billboard award after he received the milestone award.  He got a thunderous applause and cheers when he mentioned Jesus Christ, took off his sunglasses and looked up to the sky.  I really appreciate that gesture as a Christian because I think slowly people especially artists do not appreciate and recognize God in the industry anymore.

He went further to say he had accomplished atlot for a 19 year old, he isn't a gimmick that people should focus on the craft and the music. Although he got a few boos after that statement,  he was crying out for help from the constant tauting from the media. I think Justin is a good kid, he is just acting his age, alot of us didn't have much at his age so I think we should cut him some slack. With the constant media scrutiny and bashing from the paparazzi every waking moment,  anyone would be frustrated. The only advice I have for him is -Justin take a lil break from music, tours, events, Hollywood and LA in general and move back to Canada for at least 6months to year and clear your head and find yourself again.

With all said, Justin is good kid! Well done Justin!  More awards and accolades to come !

Eva Longoria wardrop malfunction at cannes film festival 2013

Eva Longoria's crotch was on display to the world at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress was trying to hold up her dress to prevent it from mopping the red carpet as it was raining when she was on. Do I hear some men screaming for joy???? Sorry Eva... we still love u!

Jim Iyke unscripted? Really?

Is it just me? Or is Jim Iyke's "reality" show the fakest thing on tv? From the fake accent the the fake ass Nollywood inspired scenes, his bleached out sisters and the small corner shop he fondly refers to as a "mall". Ok... so before am accused of being a hater, let me give some credit where credit is due... the production is quite good for Nigerian/African standards, the camera quality is also good but thats about it.

The show lacks good content,  how can entire episode of a be shot in a shop in a mall trying to make up or breakup with his girlfriend of five years Keturah who recently confessed that it was in fact a script she was given to act out. She didn't even need to share that bit of information because in my opinion it was very obvious she was acting. . I mean who does that? Who acts like a freak on international television? Or maybe she was trying to be one of the "real housewives" or maybe channelling her inner "basketball wives". Someone should have at least told her that the fake massive rock on jer fake ring fell off.. or was it her concealer that was disintegrating from the rest of her makeup? Like chalk was smouldered around her eyes? Was so hard to watch how Jim couldn't even get her a proper makeup artist to professionally apply her makeup for the award show he was hosting. She claimed to be on tour with Diddy and Jay-z really? As what exactly?  I guess she may even be delusional. ..I think that even if the Keturah scene was for real he wouldn't want it aired to protect his image.

Another scene worthy of note is the part when he was calling the Hispanic/mixed race looking girl a "white girl"...like really??? Jim?? How? and asking for her number behind your girl's back was so uncool and you played it out for the whole world to see?

Need i say that the director and editors on the show should be fired because the show lacks proper direction, a concrete plot and a chronological order of events.

Finally, I give Jim an A for effort and a D for execution. Word of advice bros, try talking normally with your normal Nigerian accent, it will do you a trailer load of good. We still love you Jim... at least you are giving us something to watch on boring African T.V.

Tamar Braxton

Is Tamar braxton putting up a diva persona 4 her reality show with her sisters? "The Braxton family values" or is she really like that foe real? Personally I don't believe she will be that loud and troublesome. ..I guess its just for tv for more ratings I guess. Toni on the other hand is so a darling very calm and mature. Love her!

Beyonce pregnant?

Beyonce defiled doctors orders and continued with her Mrs. Carter show amidst reports that she may be pregnant with her second child with music mogul Jay-z . While on stage she told her fans "my doctors told me not to perform but I just had to.... for my fans". Reports states that she is may be due in December and is hoping to keep the news a secret until she formally reveals it at the 2013 BET Awards. You may recall that she revealed her first pregnancy at the MTV Music awards a few years ago. From the pictures I have seen, her outfit at the MET Gala and also trips to the doctors. .. Beyoncé is definitely pregnant.  Congratulations Bey and Jay

Candice Glover wins American Idol season 3

As I predicted,  the vocal powerhouse Candice Glover, the North Carolina native is the new American Idol as she edges out Kree Harrison in the final two hour long finale show. She wrapped up the show in a tearful rendition of her new single " I am beautiful".

In my opinion Candice was the clear winner from the beginning of the show even when at some point only Mariah Carey had her on her top three list .

Candice showed that persistence and hard work pays off eventually as this is her third try at American Idol, you may recall that Candice tried out in season 9 and season 11.... third time is really a charm...

The two part finale show was action parked and very entertaining although some say it lacked the usual hype of previous years... the highlight for me was the rendition of "inseparable" by Candice Glover and former American Idol alumni and oscar and grammy and another vocal powerhouse Jennifer Hudson. In my opinion I think Jennifer Hudson came out tops in the performance,  Candice has alot to learn from J Hud.

Giuliana Rancic named Victoria Secret sexist mum

Giuliana Rancic was named Sexiest Mom on Victoria's Secret's 2013 What Is Sexy list, a distinction that surprised many - including the E! host herself.

her first response on E! News was "am sure people at home are saying no no no how can? i don't consider myself sexy, have they seen me in my office in the morning bla bla bla" then her co-host Terrence J quickly interrupted and insisted that indeed she was sexy and deserves the award. 

Her official response is as follows:"To be honest, I didn't have many sexy moments while dealing with breast cancer last year but now I feel stronger than ever," said the 38-year-old. "I love that Victoria's Secret considers strength and perseverance sexy." 

I personally do not think she deserves the award based on her physical looks but then considering her battle with breast cancer and having a double mastectomy, i think we could agree on compassionate grounds.What do you guys think?

Angelina Jolie and the Agony of a Mastectomy

Angelina Jolie shocked the world when she reveals that she had a double mastectomy as a preventive measure to prevent breast cancer. According to Ms Jolie, her doctors revealed she had an alternate gene (BRCA1) which puts her at a whooping 87% chance of getting breast cancer and a 50% chance of ovarian cancer. Ms. Jolie, who lost her mother after loosing her ten year battle with an unspecified kind of cancer said she did it especially because of her children.

Women who carry BRCA mutations have, on average, about a 65 percent risk of eventually developing breast cancer, as opposed to a risk of about 12 percent for most women. For some mutation carriers, the risk may be higher; Ms. Jolie wrote that the estimate for her was 87 percent.

I applaud her for this act, and i hope this trend will continue, i also encourage women to embrace this trend especially if you have a family history that puts you at risk. on the other hand, some doctors also expressed worry that her disclosure could be misinterpreted by other women, fueling the trend toward mastectomies that are not medically necessary for many early-stage breast cancers. In recent years, doctors have reported a virtual epidemic of preventive mastectomies among women who have cancer in one breast and decide to remove the healthy one as well, even though they do not have genetic mutations that increase their risk and their odds of a second breast cancer are very low.

Do you think this is a good trend? considering the fact that the BRCA mutations are rare and the test is expensive (— about $3,000 — and it is not recommended for most women). or is the world just getting more paranoid and should people wait till they actually feel a lump or are properly diagnosed before going through a mastectomy? what do you think? please leave your comments below.
